I feel like I might possibly have participated in a crochet marathon today. :0) I finished this hat in less time than I ‘ve finished any others before it, but I guess that’s what happens when you only have less than 3 hours to do something. I do not like rushing through work like that at all…I much prefer taking my time and making sure every detail is just so. However, when your daughter decides at the last minute she would like to attend a birthday party and she wants you to make one of your hats as a gift for her friend…what do you do? You hit your yarn stash with her, have her pick out some colors, and you grab your crochet hooks and getting working at a pace you did not even know you were capable of. Have any of you been in this situation before? Am I alone in this? I’m interested to hear if others have worked up last minute projects for the sake of someone you dearly love. Oh the things we do for our kids (and family and friends). :0) I love the colors my daughter picked, though, and the hat came out super cute…I just hope I didn’t miss a stitch somewhere and the hat falls apart later. Phew….glad that project is behind me. On to the next ones. :0)
Happy Stitching!
