There was a photograph of a hat that looked very much like this floating around during this time frame in 2011. I really loved the hat and wanted Adilynn to have one. I could not find a pattern for it anywhere, so welcome to the first pattern I had to come up with on my own. In all fairness, though, this is a combination of multiple patterns that I used to help me design the exact finished look that I wanted. I do not even remember how many different patterns I had used and I really don’t remember which ones they all were. All I know is that the finished result was exactly what I was going for. I just loved this hat…still do! I think it’s so adorable (if I do say so myself, LOL). You ever do that, though? Have you ever made something that you just totally loved and can’t help but smile every time you look at it? This hat is one of those projects for me.
