As an avid crochet and knit enthusiast, it should come as no surprise that I LOVE trying new tools and products that make stitching that much more fun and enjoyable. The tools that I have found that I love most over the years are the ones that are not only functional in helping me craft more easily, but that are super adorable in some way or another as well. Insert my latest find! I would love to share my newfound love of Darn Good Yarn’s Luxury Ceramic Yarn Bowls.

Of the two ceramic yarn bowls that Darn Good Yarn currently has available, I would have to say this adorable Ceramic Rooster Yarn Bowl is probably my favorite. I love the little added designs on the side and there is just something about this I find super cute. In addition to that, I love the design feature of the groove in the side of the bowl for the yarn to easily slip into and hold in place, but that can also be easily removed if you run into a snag or want to do a yarn change. I don’t think you even need to love roosters to love this yarn bowl. I know I hadn’t thought much of the farm animal before using this bowl, but it makes my heart happy now to see it when I use it, so I guess maybe I’ve become a fan. 🐓
If roosters really aren’t your thing, then you are sure to love this cute Ceramic Cat Yarn Bowl! While as the Rooster Yarn Bowl provides the option to slip the yarn easily in and out, this one holds it securely in place while you stitch. You do not need to worry about it coming out of the slot while you work. This really comes down to a matter of preference for what you find you like best as you work. There are projects that I prefer to have the option to be able to easily slip the yarn in and out of the bowl without cutting it. There are also projects that having the yarn held snugly in place allows me to work better. I really don’t think you can go wrong with either of these choices. It will come down to a matter of preference for how you like your yarn to work with your yarn bowl, or if that doesn’t matter to you one way or the other, it will come down to whether you are a 🐱cat lover or a 🐓rooster lover. ❤️
