This Crochet Baby Yoda Hat was a custom order through my Etsy shop. Apparently at this point in my stitching journey I was tracking very little of the details of the projects I was making. Thankfully I have pictures, but other than that there isn’t much to go on to replicate them. Ugh. Without a doubt this is frustrating me, but it is what it is. Can’t do anything about it now. This project was in fact the last project I stitched in 2014. Next up prepare yourself for the Knit Monster Pants explosion. Indeed this will consume my posts for the next few weeks.

While I do not have the pattern link that I used to create this hat, I did print it out for myself so I could make it again. And I searched the internet to see if I could find the same pattern again to share it here, but had no luck. However I did find that there are a lot of free patterns you can find to create something similar if you wanted to. Just put Crochet Baby Yoda Hat Free Patterns in your search bar and see what comes up! 😊
Yarn used for the Crochet Baby Yoda Hat
Once again I did not notate the exact yarn that was used for this hat. I wrote zero notes for what I used to make this project. Around the time period I stitched this, two of the main brands I used for a lot of projects were Lion Brands Wool Ease or Vanna’s Choice. I don’t know for certain if this is what I used for this project, but there is a very good chance it was one of them. (Like the Vanna’s Choice option pictured below).
Great yarn websites to check out would be: LoveCrafts, Lion Brand, Knitpicks/We Crochet , Mary Maxim and Knitcrate.
Crochet Hooks and tools
For this project I did not notate which hook I used. I do prefer Knit Picks hooks though.
Furthermore, something else that comes in handy if you decide you’d like to stitch these sets up for yourself is a good set of crochet hooks. Undoubtedly my favorite brand to use are the Knit Picks brand.
I also have a cute little set from Amazon that I love too. You can buy this one fairly inexpensively and it comes with some tools and notions that will be helpful too. Several buying options to choose from and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. 🙂 Additionally I have the light up set pictured below. I love that it’s rechargeable!
Make it even more fun and get the whole beginner crochet kit.
Additional Tools for when your wrists and/or hands ache
If you are like me and you knit and crochet a lot, something that I have found is useful at times is a pair of stress relief gloves. I own a few different kinds, but I do think any of them is better than not using anything at all if your hands and wrists are bothering you. In fact I’ll include a few links for you to check out.
