Sadly, I cannot recall at the moment who I made this set for. Here my sweet Adilynn was only a month old and already beginning her modeling career for me. LOL She looks thrilled. Oh my goodness she was so LITTLE!!
This does go down in the history books as my very first pom pom attempt, which is embarrassingly obvious to me now that I’ve done this a little while. I still hate pom poms… they are one of my least favorite things to add to a project…but I do know they are popular and a lot of people love them. Even now I struggle to get them to look exactly like I’d like them to. And I don’t like the fact that it makes a hat essentially unwashable because the pom pom will just fall apart in a washing machine.
Does anyone reading this blog have any great pointers about making pom poms that they would love to share? I’ve definitely gotten better and learned some things I didn’t know back then, but I’m always open for easier and better ways to do things.
What is the general consensus out there?
