Just as I already have a post on this blog covering my Simple Seed Stitch Knit Dishcloth, I also have another post covering my Knit Moss Stitch Dishcloth. Like I said before, I really didn’t want to reinvent the wheel on these, so for the most part I have just recreated that post again in order for my blog to remain chronologically correct. Both of these patterns were two of my very first posts of patterns that I offered for free in order to get my blog started years ago. They are still available for free, I’m just reposting to keep things in order. 😊

Knit Moss Stitch Dishcloth FREE pattern info:
As previously stated, I wrote this free knit moss stitch dishcloth pattern. However, I’m sure this also exists elsewhere due to it’s simplicity. Nevertheless, I wrote it out anyway because I honestly created it as I stitched along. I didn’t take the time to find it elsewhere but instead did my own thing. That is, of course, part of the joy of being a designer. 😉

Skill Level: Easy
Materials:
*US size 7 Straight or Circular (24”) Needles
*Tapestry Needle
*1 Skein Cotton Yarn -Pictured here is Lily Sugar n Cream in Cool Breeze Ombre. But I also LOVE KnitPicks Dishie Yarn (which I hadn’t discovered yet when I wrote this pattern).
Dishie Yarn Options:
In addition to KnitPicks Dishie Yarn, Lion Brand also has a great option in their 24/7 Cotton. Last, but certainly not least, is the age old Lily’s Sugar N’ Cream. Initially this is what I used to design this pattern. However, if you want to stick with the orginal, check out the link below for Create For Less but it’s not a direct link to the Sugar N’ Cream yarn. That’s because that site is GINORMOUS! But even so, it’s very easy to find. In fact, you simply type in Sugar N Cream or even just cotton yarn into the search bar and it will bring it right up.

Need a little more help?
In short, that should be about all you need if you want to try this one out. However, maybe you still feel like you might need a little extra assistance. If so, check out the links below for Craftsy or Annie’s. As a matter of fact, I take online classes often to improve and advance my skills. Undoubtedly, you can always learn something new! Indeed I actually taught myself to knit and crochet through “Teach myself” kits. In addition I’ll share a link for something very similar to what I purchased for myself below as well.

Oh the sales going on at Annie’s right now are too many to list!! In fact, I just got notified that they are launching their black friday sales early!! Without a doubt they have the BEST clubs to join, which are the PERFECT gift for anyone on your Christmas list this year. Not just knit and crochet, but other crafts and book clubs as well! In short, just be sure to check them out. Indeed I am sharing a few options below that aren’t knit and crochet related. 😉
