Gloves….crocheted or knitted….are not an easy project to tackle. I remember feeling pretty proud of myself when I finished stitching Nathan’s crochet gloves and they actually fit on my daughter’s hands. She was my test subject being that she was the same age as my nephew, who I was making these for, and he lived too far away to try them on.

My sister in law had contacted me and asked me if I could make my nephew a personalized earflap hat and a pair of gloves. I posted the personalized hat separately before this, but here is how the finished set turned out:

I do not remember the exact colorway that I used. However I am almost certain this was the Caron Simply Soft brand. The pattern I used was Crocheted Gloves by Susan Norrad. I did have to adjust the pattern for a child size because the pattern was written for an adult. I was so happy they turned out how I wanted.

Here is a picture of the adorable little guy trying on the set. 💖😁
Have you ever attempted a pair of gloves, with the fingers? Did you knit or crochet them? I would love to see pics if you are willing to share them!
Happy Stitching!
