Nicole’s Crochet Ribbon Baby Booties were stitched as a baby shower gift for my cousin who was expecting her first baby girl. She had seen pics of the ones I had stitched before when I posted them and said she liked them. I figured they were a pretty safe bet as a gift idea. 😊

Crochet Ribbon Baby Booties Pattern Info:
As previously stated in my first blog post about these, much to my surprise, I wrote this pattern. Ha ha! However I had no recollection of writing it. Indeed I must have, though, because the only thing I found upon searching for the project info was a sheet of paper written in my handwriting with instructions on stitching these. Naturally I considered typing out those instructions here on this blog, but at quick glance, they did not make a whole lot of sense. In order to make sure I only share something that can be easily followed, I did not want to type this all out until I have a chance to look it over a little more thoroughly.
Yarn used for the Crochet Ribbon Baby Booties
I did not notate for this particular project which yarn I used. However, for the projects I made later, I notated that I used Premier Yarns Serenity sock prints in Hot pink. I’m assuming I must have used the soft white color for the main portion and then the green and hot pink for the other colors. I only notated the hot pick on any of the projects though. Upon searching this up to share links, however, I am not finding the hot pink available anywhere. A good substitution would be We Crochet’s Stroll Yarn.
A few good substitutes would be: Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice , Red Heart Soft, Bernat Softee Baby and Caron Simply Soft, to name a few.

Crochet Hooks and tools
For this project I used U.S. Size B (2.25 mm)
Furthermore, something else that comes in handy if you decide you’d like to stitch these sets up for yourself is a good set of crochet hooks. Undoubtedly my favorite brand to use are the Knit Picks brand.
I also have a cute little set from Amazon that I love too. You can buy this one fairly inexpensively and it comes with some tools and notions that will be helpful too. Several buying options to choose from and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. 🙂 Additionally I have the light up set pictured below. I love that it’s rechargeable!
Make it even more fun and get the whole beginner crochet kit.
A little bling
Of course many little girls love a little added bling when it comes to their accessories. For many of the hats I stitched, I would add these fun little gemstones. While I don’t remember exactly where I purchased them, most likely it was at a craft store or amazon. Nevertheless I am adding a few amazon links to point you in the right direction. Another option I used frequently were fun buttons. Be creative!!
Additional Tools for when your wrists and/or hands ache
If you are like me and you knit and crochet a lot, something that I have found is useful at times is a pair of stress relief gloves. I own a few different kinds, but I do think any of them is better than not using anything at all if your hands and wrists are bothering you. In fact I’ll include a few links for you to check out.
