Following the sequence with my previous posts of the Simple Seed Stitch Knit Dishcloth, the Knit Moss Stitch Dishcloth, and the Twisted Stockinette Stitch Knit Dishcloth we get to the Nubby Sand Stitch Knit Dishcloth. Again I will remind anyone following the blog, these are duplicate posts to the original pattern posts. Moreover, to be honest, out of all the dishcloth patterns I’ve written, this Nubby Sand Stitch Knit Dishcloth pattern is one of my favorites. There is just something about the texture that I really love.

In addition to KnitPicks Dishie Yarn, Lion Brand also has a great option in their 24/7 Cotton. Last, but certainly not least, is the age old Lily’s Sugar N’ Cream. Initially this is what I used to design this pattern. However, if you want to stick with the orginal,check out the link below for Create For Less but it’s not a direct link to the Sugar N’ Cream yarn. That’s because that site is GINORMOUS! But even so, it’s very easy to find. In fact, you simply type in Sugar N Cream or even just cotton yarn into the search bar and it will bring it right up.
What are the best needles and tools to use?
In addition to having great yarn, Knit Picks also carries my favorite needles. In fact, I’m pretty sure they have everything you can think of… from straight needles, to double pointed needles to an awesome interchangeable set you are sure to love.
Still unsure of what you should purchase? Then I definitely recommend doing your own research and read the reviews. Indeed, you are making an investment in your craft. To be sure, I believe interchangeable is one of the most economical ways to get started in knitting. These sets are versatile and can be used for just about any knitting project. In fact, you can even use them to knit in the round if you learn the magic loop!!
