The Once in a Blue Moon Sale hosted by Knit Picks and We Crochet is just in time to support the #HatsnotHate campaign. If you’ve never heard of the #HatsnotHate movement, check out their website here: HatsnotHate.org This is an organization that is trying to raise the awareness of bullying in schools. October is National Bullying Prevention Month and HatsnotHate.org is currently collecting hats through Sept 13 to distribute to schools across the nations to wear, empowering them to make a stand against bullying. Knit Picks and We Crochet couldn’t have picked a better time to have their Once in a Blue Moon Sale where all the blue yarn on their websites is up to 60% off or more! The sale runs from August 19 through August 22 at 11:59pm PDT. It doesn’t hurt that these are two of my favorite places to shop for yarn! 🙂

If you want to check out an awesome website/blog that hugely supports this organization, you should check out Savlabot. She has a great free pattern to Knit and additionally she has care label tags that you can download for free!! In her Etsy shop, she also sells Hats Not Hate tags that you can sew right on to the hat you stitch. They do not stay in stock long, though, so you’ll have to buy them when you see them!
