Purple Flower Fringe Textured Scarf ~ October 28, 2011

~October 28, 2011~

With the Flower Newsboy Textured Hat being so popular, I decided that it would be a great idea to make a scarf to go with it. Even more, I wanted something that would go with the hat nicely enough to make a great gift set to give. As a result, this flower fringe textured scarf was created. In fact, this might very well be the first one I ever stitched up.

Flower and Car Fringe Textured Scarf Crochet Pattern

As I stated in the post explaining the creation of this pattern, I am not a huge fan of typical fringe, but I do love the way this adds a little fun to the scarf without making it difficult to keep looking nice after any amount of a child’s rough and tumble playing around. The flower scarf is really for any age….I don’t see any older people willing to wear the car scarf too much, though. LOL

Flower Fringe Textured Scarf Yarn

This scarf was stitched in the Caron Simply Soft Party Yarn in the Purple Sparkle and Snow colorways. I do love this yarn for the extra glitter and shine it adds and yet is still super soft. We all know how kids do not tolerate scratchy things very well. Undoubtedly, this scarf and this yarn are kid approved in my house.
