So, I already have a post on this blog covering my Simple Seed Stitch Knit Dishcloth. I really didn’t want to reinvent the wheel on this one, so for the most part I have just recreated that post again in order for my blog to remain chronologically correct. The only reason that this one was posted so far ahead of when I actually got to this point on my stitching journey is because I wanted to make the free pattern available ASAP. You will probably see that quite a bit over the next few blog posts because most of my dishcloth patterns have been previously discussed on this blog in order for the patterns to be made available. However, I’ll update any info that I come across that might need it.

Simple Seed Stitch Knit Dishcloth FREE pattern info:
As previously stated, I wrote this free simple seed stitch dishcloth knit pattern. However, I’m sure it exists elsewhere due to it’s simplicity. Nevertheless, I wrote it out anyway because I honestly created it as I stitched along. I didn’t take the time to find it elsewhere but instead did my own thing. That is, of course, part of the joy of being a designer. π

Skill Level: Easy
Materials:
*US size 7 Straight or Circular (24β) Needles
*Tapestry Needle
*1 Skein Cotton Yarn Pictured here I used Lily Sugar n Cream in Cool Breeze Ombre. But I also LOVE KnitPicks Dishie Yarn (which I hadn’t discovered yet when I wrote this pattern.) Of course I included links below on where to find some of these yarn options.
Dishie Yarn Options:
In addition to KnitPicks Dishie Yarn, Lion Brand also has a great option in their 24/7 Cotton. Last, but certainly not least, is the age old Lily’s Sugar N’ Cream. Initially this is what I used to design this pattern. However, if you want to stick with the orginal, check out the link below for Create For Less but it’s not a direct link to the Sugar N’ Cream yarn. That’s because that site is GINORMOUS! But even so, it’s very easy to find. In fact, you simply type in Sugar N Cream or even just cotton yarn into the search bar and it will bring it right up.

Need a little more help?
In short, that should be about all you need if you want to try this one out. However, maybe you still feel like you might need a little extra assistance. If so, check out the links below for Craftsy or Annie’s. As a matter of fact, I take online classes often to improve and advance my skills. Undoubtedly, you can always learn something new! Indeed I actually taught myself to knit and crochet through “Teach myself” kits. In addition I’ll share a link for something very similar to what I purchased for myself below as well.
Wrapping it all up:
Actual finished product may be sold. I request my shop name: Stay@Home Stitchings and webpage address: www.stayathomestitchings.etsy.com be mentioned in the listing or wherever the item is displayed.
