Howdie readers! Likely you saw the picture or the heading and you are looking to learn more about this Adult Medium Sized Knit Hat with Pink Bat. And I plan to tell you all about it. But first, I want to apologize for the long delay between posts.
This summer was one for the books and we were busier than ever. My youngest was the lead in her dance recital, followed by my oldest daughter’s high school graduation the following weekend. This brought in lots of family for a solid 2 weeks. Then began our rounds of visiting family from New York to Texas. Then throw in our daughter’s graduation trip to OBX. Now we are less than 2 weeks away from the start of another school year and I can’t believe it all flew by so quickly. I generally put as much business stuff to the side as I can in order to focus on my people. Time is passing by and they are all growing up way to fast. Soaking it all up while I can.
But that’s enough about me, now we will learn the details of this hat.

What yarn did I used for this Adult Medium Sized Knit Hat with pink bat?
Even though you are used to me saying I used Lion Brands Wool Ease for the main color or even Vanna’s Choice, that was not the case this time. While I love those 2 yarns a lot, I do not think that is the brand I used for this project. Sadly, I did not write down what I used exactly.
Other good yarn choices I would recommend to use to make this would be Lion Brands Pound of Love, Caron simply soft and Red Heart Soft. Places to yarn shop for these brands would be Amazon , Lion Brand and Create For Less websites.

What are the best needles and tools to use?
If you are unsure of what you should purchase, I definitely recommend doing your own research and read the reviews. Keep in mind that you are making an investment in your craft. For this reason you want to be sure you’ll be happy with them for a long time to come. So check out the linksto see what the Knit Picks needles are all about. I highly recommend them being included in your research.
In addition to this, I’m also including a few links to Amazon for some interchangeable sets that come with excellent reviews. To tell the truth, I believe interchangeable is one of the most economical ways to get started in knitting. These sets are versatile and can be used for just about any knitting project. In fact, you can even use them to knit in the round if you learn the magic loop!!
Additional Tools for when your wrists and/or hands ache
If you are like me and you knit and crochet a lot, something that I have found is useful at times is a pair of stress relief gloves. I own a few different kinds, but I do think any of them is better than not using anything at all if your hands and wrists are bothering you. I’ll include a few links for you to check out.
Need a little more help?
In short, that should be about all you need if you want to try this one out. However, maybe you still feel like you might need a little extra assistance. That being the case you might want online classes to help you. If so, check out the links below for Craftsy or Annie’s. As a matter of fact, I take online classes often to improve and advance my skills. You can always learn something new! I actually taught myself to knit and crochet through “Teach myself” kits. In addition I’ll share a link for something very similar to what I purchased for myself below as well.
If you have any questions about the information in this post please just leave me a comment.
Happy Stitching!
