Double Seed Stitch Knit Dishcloth ~ August 18, 2013

Next in line is the Double Seed Stitch Knit Dishcloth. If you have been following along, you will have seen the Simple Seed Stitch Knit Dishcloth, the Knit Moss Stitch Dishcloth, the Twisted Stockinette Stitch Knit Dishcloth, the Nubby Sand Stitch Knit Dishcloth, the Twisted Rib Stitch Knit Dishclothand the Star Stitch Knit Dishcloth already. Of course I love all of those patterns.

Again I will remind anyone following the blog, these are duplicate posts to the original pattern posts. Because these weren’t just projects but also patterns I was sharing, I wanted to get those available right away. Until now I haven’t had a chance to document my stitching journey. Consequently that creates two similar posts in order to have the pattern information available but additionally keep up with my chronological project journal. Just to explain in a little further detail what is going on. 😊

Dishie Yarn Options:

Or find the WHOLE Ultimate Dishie Dishcloth Kit on the KnitPicks Website!

In addition to KnitPicks Dishie Yarn, Lion Brand also has a great option in their 24/7 Cotton. Last, but certainly not least, is the age old Lily’s Sugar N’ Cream. Initially this is what I used to design this pattern. However, if you want to stick with the orginal, check out the link below for Create For Less but it’s not a direct link to the Sugar N’ Cream yarn. That’s because that site is GINORMOUS! But even so, it’s very easy to find. In fact, you simply type in Sugar N Cream or even just cotton yarn into the search bar and it will bring it right up.

What are the best needles and tools to use?

In addition to having great yarn, Knit Picks also carries my favorite needles. In fact, I’m pretty sure they have everything you can think of… from straight needles, to double pointed needles to an awesome interchangeable set you are sure to love.

Still unsure of what you should purchase? Then I definitely recommend doing your own research and read the reviews. Indeed, you are making an investment in your craft. For this reason you want to be sure you’ll be happy with them for a long time to come. So check out the link below to see what the Knit Picks needles are all about. Without a doubt, I highly recommend them being included in your research.

In addition to this, I’m also including a few links to Amazon for some interchangeable sets that come with excellent reviews. To be sure, I believe interchangeable is one of the most economical ways to get started in knitting. These sets are versatile and can be used for just about any knitting project. In fact, you can even use them to knit in the round if you learn the magic loop!!

Need a little more help?

In short, that should be about all you need if you want to try this one out. However, maybe you still feel like you might need a little extra assistance. If so, check out the links below for Craftsy or Annie’s. As a matter of fact, I take online classes often to improve and advance my skills. Undoubtedly, you can always learn something new! Indeed I actually taught myself to knit and crochet through “Teach myself” kits. In addition I’ll share a link for something very similar to what I purchased for myself below as well.
