White Crochet Cross Bookmark ~ September 18, 2016

Now look at me getting on here 2 weeks in a row. Granted, this is only my 3rd post in 2 weeks, but I’m trying to get back to it as much as I can. There is a lot of ground to make up. This white crochet cross bookmark project won’t have a lot of detail for it. I actually just came across the picture and knew it was on my project list. As far as any of the details on the pattern or supplies, anything I share will really be guessing. As I have said 1000 times before, make sure you are documenting your projects as you go. You never know when you might want to stitch them again, and I promise, you won’t remember all details!

White Crochet Cross Bookmark Project Info:

Craft: Crochet
Made For: I don’t remember Etsy 😊
Started: ?
Completed: Picture taken on September 18, 2016
Hook size(s): 2.25 mm (B)

Pattern Info:

Pattern: I’m not 100% certain, but I believe I used the Pineapple Cross Pattern in Annie’s Attic Crochet Inspirational Celebrations Pattern Book. It was book #874518. From my quick research right now trying to link it for you, I am finding that it is no longer available. That is the problem with posting about a project you stitched 8 years ago. I apologize I am so far behind!

Yarn used for the White Crochet Cross Bookmark

For this project I used Aunt Lydia’s size 10 Crochet White Cotton Thread. Additionally you need some ribbon to tie on the end.

Places to yarn shop would be Knit Picks, Amazon , Lion Brand , Lovecrafts, Mary Maxim , A Cherry on Top, and Create For Less websites.

Crochet Hooks and tools

For this project I used U.S. Size B (2.25 mm) hook.

Furthermore, something else that comes in handy if you decide you’d like to stitch these sets up for yourself is a good set of crochet hooks. Undoubtedly my favorite brand to use are the Knit Picks brand.

I also have a cute little set from Amazon that I love too. You can buy this one fairly inexpensively and it comes with some tools and notions that will be helpful too. Several buying options to choose from and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. πŸ™‚ Additionally I have the light up set pictured below. I love that it’s rechargeable!

Additional Tools for when your wrists and/or hands ache

If you are like me and you knit and crochet a lot, something that I have found is useful at times is a pair of stress relief gloves. I own a few different kinds, but I do think any of them is better than not using anything at all if your hands and wrists are bothering you. In fact I’ll include a few links for you to check out.

Need a little more help?
