Outdoor Garden and Patio Planters

Can you feel the warmer weather starting to come our way? While I can today, the forecast is calling for snow on Sunday, so I suppose that will be short lived. Regardless, it’s never too soon to start planning your outdoor garden and patio planters for when that warmer weather is here to stay.

Patio Planters

Nothing says springtime and summer to me like the big barrel planter full of flowers. Inevitably every year my mother would purchase a beautiful array of flowers to plant in barrels just like those pictured below. Undoubtedly you probably guessed that I, too, have these big flower barrels now as an adult myself. And my husband and I look forward to each springtime when we get to fill it full of colorful plants and flowers. As a result, it brings a smile to our face every time we walk in our front door.

In addition to patio planters similar to ones my mother used, I also found a few on the Sunnydaze website that I thought were awesome as well.

Outdoor Garden

Another thing I learned from my parents growing up is that the best way to plant a garden and have it actually grow is to plant it in raised beds. I love that Sunnydaze has options for this that not only make a functional garden space, but a decorative one as well. Even more than the ones I have pictured here, their website is full of options. However, these happen to be my top 3 choices so I shared them so I could easily find them again later.

A few more planters

In addition to the planters I have shared above, I found a few more that I fell in love with that I felt needed a section all on their own. Indeed I am a sucker for two things when it comes to outdoor decor. One is a the wooden wishing well. I don’t know what it is about it, but I just love how they decorate a yard. Not only does the wishing well I am sharing look beautiful in and of itself, but it also is a planter. You can fill it with beautiful flowers to give it even more charm that it already has.

The second thing I am a sucker for when it comes to outdoor decor is a welcoming sign. I love to have people feel welcomed before they even knock on the front door. Naturally I wanted to share one of the items I found on the Sunnydaze website that I thought would be the perfect yard decoration.
